Adverse weather

Occasionally, school may be affected by adverse weather. There are 3 possible changes to a normal school day:

• School is closed

• School is open as normal although some bus runs may be cancelled or running late

• School has a delayed start (10am) with a compacted timetable. Buses may or may not be running. 

Notification, and updates, will be done as early as possible via local radio stations and on our Facebook page and the front page of our website.

Should a severe weather event occur during the school day, students will be kept in class until the end of the school day and a decision regarding transport arrangements will be made at that time. 

We do not want parents to come to school to collect their children unless notified to do so.
