Sport / EOTC

Sport is an important part of the curriculum at RPS. Classes are involved in physical education lessons as well as regular fitness. We have a range of sporting opportunities for tamariki to engage with. If you have any questions around sports and EOTC, please contact our team.

For the majority of events, students will now compete at a school event then onto a zone qualifier (Wakatipu zone for our children) with participating in the Central Otago championships as the pinnacle for our children.

A large number of our events depend on parent and caregiver support as volunteers. We will need you for coaching, marshalling and sometimes for transport. Our parent volunteers don’t need to be specialists but if you are especially keen on a particular sport or have coaching experience, please get in touch!
