Adverse weather

Occasionally, school may be affected by adverse weather. There are 3 possible changes to a normal school day:

• School is closed

• School is open as normal although some bus runs may be cancelled or running late

• School has a delayed start (10am) with a compacted timetable. Buses may or may not be running. 

Notification, and updates, will be done as early as possible,  endeavouring to do so by 7:15am via Hero, our Facebook page and the front page of our website.

Should a severe weather event occur during the school day, students will be kept in class until the end of the school day and a decision regarding transport arrangements will be made at that time. 

We do not want parents to come to school to collect their children unless notified to do so.
